Freedom III is an ideal boat for groups, couples, or sole travelers and can easily be combined with a land-based stay.
Brand new for 2012 Freedom III is the 4th boat to join the Freedom fleet of liveaboards. As with all of the fleet, Freedom III offers great flexibility in departure days and duration of stays, making her ideal for guests wishing to utilize regional departure airports and those who may not want to spend a whole week at sea.
Please note that Freedom III is suitable for single-cylinder recreational divers only, nitrox is available free of charge.
Freedom III sleeps a maximum of 22 guests. There are 2 double bedded cabins, 1 quad (1 double + 2 singles), and 7 twins. The quad cabin is ideal for a family, and works perfectly as a triple for small groups on board should there be an uneven number of males and females to share. All cabins have air-con, en-suite facilities, personal TV& DVD, mini-fridge, mini safe & hair-dryer. The communal lounge has a large plasma TV, DVD, sound system, and library and free WIFI is also available. Upstairs you will find 2 sundeck areas, perfect for relaxing between dives, on the spacious dive deck you will find 2 showers and 2 additional toilets.
During your stay on any of the Freedom Fleet of liveaboards, you will be on a full board and soft drinks basis, this will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on embarkation and disembarkation times, snacks between dives, water, tea, coffee, Pepsi, Fanta, and Sprite.
The Freedom Fleet of liveaboards can be booked for anything from 1-7 nights on board. For a 6-7 night stay the areas of Tiran Island, Ras Mohammed, Abu Nuhas, and Thistlegorm can be covered, for stays of 3–5 nights we would recommend Ras Mohammed, Abu Nuhas, and Thistlegorm, 2-3 nights Ras Mohammed and Thistlegorm.
Whilst on board you can expect up to 4 dives a day, 1 early morning, 2 days, and 1 night, this of course is subject to weather conditions as well as embarkation and disembarkation times. On all safaris, a RIB is taken for additional safety as well as to give you the opportunity to dive on reefs where the larger boats can’t go.
Please note that Freedom III is suitable for single-cylinder recreational divers only, nitrox is available free of charge.
