What exactly is a liveaboard, dive safari, or dive charter, though?
A liveaboard is a specially designed boat for scuba diving or an existing boat that has been modified to accommodate diving trips that often last longer than one night. Although most trips last seven nights, there are also shorter and longer itineraries available. The diving boats typically accommodate 12 to 30 divers, however at this location, you can find both smaller and larger vessels. The majority of the time, dive boats offer comfortable diving decks where you can arrange your gear and typically have one, two, or more tenders to transport divers to and from the dive locations.

NORTHERN STANDARD LIVEABOARD ROUTES
7 NIGHTS | 6 DIVING DAYS
These liveaboard routes will give you the chance to dive into the best sites in Ras Mohamed and Tiran including the Thistlegorm and Dunraven. Your first dive will be made in Sharks Bay or one of the local reefs to check your weights and equipment and then we head towards Ras Mohamed taking in the best sites en route and in the National Park. We only aim for the two wrecks on this trip before heading back towards Tiran to dive at Thomas, Gordon, Woodhouse, and Jackson Reef.
NORTHERN WRECKS AND REEFS LIVEABOARD ROUTES
7 NIGHTS | 6 DIVING DAYS
Wrecks and Reefs give you the chance to make the crossing at Abu Nuhas to dive the famous wrecks there such as Giannis D, Chrisoula K, the Carnatic, and the Barge at Bluff Point, and of course the Thistlegorm. Similar to the Northern Standard route this trip focuses more on the wrecks in Gubal but also gives you some great diving in the National Park and in Tiran.
DEEP NORTH DAHAB LIVEABOARD ROUTES

This is not a trip for wreck enthusiasts but is fantastic to dive into some of the best sites around Dahab.
THISTLEGORM TO TIRAN LIVEABOARD ROUTES
4 NIGHTS | 4 DIVING DAYS
The safari will take you to the famous wrecks of the Thistlegorm and Dunraven as well as some of the other dive sites around Shag Rock and Sha’ab Mahmoud. TIRAN TO DUNRAVEN LIVEABOARD ROUTES

TAILOR MADE LIVEABOARD ROUTES
AS SHORT OR AS LONG AS YOU LIKE!
You can plan your perfect, private trip with a minimum of only six people. If our other liveaboard routes do not suit you then let us know what your ideal plan would be and let us help you to make your perfect trip. This is the best idea for private groups and for non-divers who maybe like to experience the taste of a liveaboard safari for snorkeling with the option to try a dive. A popular trip is always the mini-safari to dive the Thistlegorm. If you are limited on time but still want to experience life on board then simply let us know how many days you would like and we can help you to plan your ideal diving holiday.
If you’re planning on going on a liveaboard safari for the first time, here’s some pointers to help you make the most of your holiday …
For all of our full-week trips, you will board the boat around 20:00 on the first day for dinner and to meet your guide/s and fellow divers, and you will depart Sharks Bay Jetty as early as possible the next day. You will have six full days of diving, with one early morning dive, two during the day, and one at night. There will be no diving on the final day, and you will depart the boat at 14:00 after lunch.
On our mini safaris, you will board the boat around 20:00 to leave early the next day. Except for the final day, you will do three-day dives and one night dive (weather and moorings permitting).
You will do two dives and have lunch before returning to our jetty around 14:00 on the last day.
Our three main liveaboard routes are the Northern Standard, Northern Wrecks and Reefs, and Tiran to Dunraven. We are happy to "tailor make" a trip to include whatever sites you desire, or a short trip for a few days to focus on the Thistlegorm. These are only suggested itineraries, and each trip is subject to prevailing weather conditions as well as any restrictions imposed by the Egyptian Government, Coast Guard, and Marine Police that is beyond our control.
